Job Description
As a Retail Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operations at Singapore Changi airport and ferry terminal retail outlets. Your responsibilities include:
Proactively engage with customers to promote products and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
Welcome and assist customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner from the moment they enter the store.
Provide accurate and helpful product information, answer inquiries, and offer tailored recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
Efficiently handle transactions at the point of sale, including cash, credit card payments, and returns, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment, including shelf restocking and product display arrangements.
Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies to the Store-in-Charge (SIC) or senior team members, and help ensure stock records are accurate.
Support stock management by receiving, unpacking, and promptly displaying new inventory.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
Take part in team meetings, product training, and ongoing development sessions to enhance performance and knowledge.
Job Requirements
Prior experience in retail or customer service is an added advantage, but not required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work under pressure during peak periods.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an added advantage.
Positive attitude and team player.
Basic computer skills.
