Job Description

As a Retail Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operations at Singapore Changi airport and ferry terminal retail outlets. Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively engage with customers to promote products and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

• Welcome and assist customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner from the moment they enter the store.

• Provide accurate and helpful product information, answer inquiries, and offer tailored recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.

• Efficiently handle transactions at the point of sale, including cash, credit card payments, and returns, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment, including shelf restocking and product display arrangements.

• Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies to the Store-in-Charge (SIC) or senior team members, and help ensure stock records are accurate.

• Support stock management by receiving, unpacking, and promptly displaying new inventory.

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.

• Take part in team meetings, product training, and ongoing development sessions to enhance performance and knowledge.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in retail or customer service is an added advantage, but not required.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work under pressure during peak periods.

• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an added advantage.

• Positive attitude and team player.

• Basic computer skills.
