About the role

We are seeking a self-motivated and customer-oriented Retail Associate to join our team at The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. located in the Changi Airport. As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within our dynamic retail environment. This is a full-time role with a 5-day work week and the opportunity to earn commission.

Job Description

• Deliver warm, professional, and personalized service to all customers, creating memorable and positive interactions

• Represent the brand with pride—embodying courtesy, enthusiasm, and professionalism at all times

• Serve as a brand storyteller, introducing customers to our heritage, craftsmanship, and signature products

• Drive brand awareness and sales performance by confidently recommending products and offering curated suggestions based on customer preferences

• Stay well-informed about product updates, seasonal releases, and promotional campaigns

• Support smooth daily store operations including housekeeping, stock replenishment, and visual upkeep

• Gather and share valuable insights and learnings regarding customer preferences, product feedback, visitor demographics and generic airport related updates

• Perform duties or assignments to support store goals, when required

• Experience in retail and/ or customer-facing roles preferred

• A friendly and confident personality with a passion for delivering delightful customer experiences

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of travellers and to work together with colleagues as a team to drive sales
