About the role
Join our vibrant team as a Retail Assistant for the Popular Book Company in Singapore. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the efficient operation of our retail stores. With a focus on creating an engaging and enjoyable shopping experience, you will play a crucial part in the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with purchases.
  • Manage inventory, restock shelves, and ensure products are well-displayed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.
  • Support promotional activities and sales events.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum GCE N or O level. Entry level candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
    are welcome
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers of all ages
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently as needed
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for merchandising and visual presentation
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and retail hours as required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable
