Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with external vendors on procurement of medication and supplies
- Research and compare alternative medications to support management decision on drugs selection
- Analyse data relating to drugs usage, stock levels and expiry of medication to ensure prompt replenishment and redistribution
- Support clinical services by stocking, assembling, and distribution of medication
- Monitor and maintain optimal level of drug inventory to ensure availability as well as prevent excessive expiry of medication
- Communicate and collaborate with the clinics on all matter pertaining to medications
- Conduct regular assessments on work processes to improve operational efficiency and work flow
- Monitor and collate statistics and key performance indicators with regards to procurement and management of drugs inventory.
- Perform stocktake and resolve any discrepancies between physical counts and records in system
- Guide and monitor clinics on optimal drug placement layout and reduce expired drugs
- Present monthly reports and initiatives to management team
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience in related field
- At least a diploma in any discipline
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of medications is a plus
- Experienced in Healthcare / Medical care industry will be an advantage
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Conscientious and meticulous
- Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast pace environment, with a passion for improving operations
