Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with external vendors on procurement of medication and supplies
  • Research and compare alternative medications to support management decision on drugs selection
  • Analyse data relating to drugs usage, stock levels and expiry of medication to ensure prompt replenishment and redistribution
  • Support clinical services by stocking, assembling, and distribution of medication
  • Monitor and maintain optimal level of drug inventory to ensure availability as well as prevent excessive expiry of medication
  • Communicate and collaborate with the clinics on all matter pertaining to medications
  • Conduct regular assessments on work processes to improve operational efficiency and work flow
  • Monitor and collate statistics and key performance indicators with regards to procurement and management of drugs inventory.
  • Perform stocktake and resolve any discrepancies between physical counts and records in system
  • Guide and monitor clinics on optimal drug placement layout and reduce expired drugs
  • Present monthly reports and initiatives to management team
  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years experience in related field
  • At least a diploma in any discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of medications is a plus
  • Experienced in Healthcare / Medical care industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Conscientious and meticulous
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic, fast pace environment, with a passion for improving operations
