Restaurant Supervisor - Staff Cafeteria

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in Marketing Communications of the organization, including maintenance of websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms, media relations, and press releases.
2. Provide excellent service standards at all times, ensuring courteous and efficient food and beverage services to customers.
3. Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient, and friendly serving of all food and beverages.
4. Assist servers, cashiers, and host staff in their duties when necessary.
5. Act as a liaison between kitchen and front of house employees/operations.
6. Communicate effectively, giving clear directions, support, timely feedback, and recognition of performance.
7. Deal quickly and independently with customer complaints when necessary, ensuring proper follow-up with the relevant manager(s).
8. Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
9. Stay updated on current menu items, specialties, and deviations, and monitor kitchen stock levels.
10. Present bills, collect payments, and handle transactions with cash or credit cards.
11. Maintain grooming and appearance standards at all times.
12. Complete all opening, closing, and side-work duties daily.
13. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
14. Handle daily associate relations, including scheduling and time adjustments.
15. Assist management in gathering and implementing tools for shift operations, such as schedules, floor plans, and reservations.
16. Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning glasses, furniture, fittings, and setting tables.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience with a customer-oriented approach and patience.
• Hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Food Hygiene certificate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
