Overview

Tanjong Beach Club is a surfside restaurant, bar and club, on Singapore’s best strip of sand. With panoramic views of the sea, it offers fresh coastal cuisine and artisanal cocktails, over poolside daybeds and indoor dining spaces. The Lo and Behold Group is a hospitality company recognised for creating timeless destinations and thought-leading experiences. This role is one of the few positions primed to directly influence the guest experience. You will ensure guests leave happy and satisfied with the service and experience, and identify unique opportunities to delight in day-to-day service.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing operations and developing/executing plans to achieve daily and monthly targets
  • Manage staff, oversee work schedules and assign specific duties
  • Create and improve standard operating procedures for service and product preparation
  • Oversee venue equipment and facilities management / maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections on the general cleanliness and maintenance of venues and take corrective action as necessary
  • Monitor venue adherence to licensing laws regarding service of food and beverage, public/employee safety and food safety
  • Plan and manage activities with the Marketing department relating to sales promotions, events, etc
  • Review and analyze sales mix, inventory, and other performance data to measure productivity and identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement
  • Analyze POS reports and sales trends, and implement cost control measures and improvements to onsite sales and marketing tools
  • Conceptualize staff development plans according to business needs
  • Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those processes
  • Set direction and expectations for the team to achieve goals
  • Implement training strategies for the venue
  • Ensure procedural compliance with Company policies
