Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication and people skills.

Job Summary

We seek a dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations of our Chinese cuisine outlet(s), driving team performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth through effective management and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations including staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and financial reporting to ensure smooth daily functioning
• Develop and execute strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and enhance operational efficiency
• Lead, motivate, and develop servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and dining experiences
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations to maintain a safe and legal environment
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure quality products and maintain operational continuity
• Monitor restaurant financials including sales, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and budgeting to optimize profitability
• Utilize Microsoft Office and POS systems proficiently to support operational and reporting tasks
• Commit to flexible working hours including overtime, weekends, public holidays, and rostered shifts

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid Food Safety & Hygiene certification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Food & Beverage Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant restaurant operations experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Experience managing high-volume restaurant operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and develop teams effectively
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food safety, workplace safety, and hygiene regulations
• Experience in Chinese cuisine
