Job description

The applicant is required to work 5.5 work week, work 60 hours a week (include weekend and Public Holiday.

1. Operation Management

  • Responsible for daily store operations, including staff scheduling, food procurement, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and food safety standards (compliant with Singapore SFA regulations).
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and ambiance, reflecting our genuine care for details.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly/annual revenue, profit, and cost control targets.
  • Optimize operational processes to improve table turnover rate and customer satisfaction.

2. Team Building & Training

  • Recruit, train, and manage local team members (front and back of house), fostering a culture of efficiency and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular training on product knowledge, service standards, and corporate culture, ensuring staff mastery of Malatang preparation processes.
  • Build a high-efficiency collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure employees are familiar with Malatang production processes.

3. Marketing & Customer Engagement

  • Analyze local consumer preferences in Singapore, plan promotional campaigns (e.g., holiday events, partnerships with food delivery platforms).
  • Manage customer relationships, resolve complaints, and implement loyalty programs (e.g., membership systems).
  • Analyze consumer behavior to plan marketing strategies.
  • Establish customer loyalty plans.

4. Cross-Cultural Communication

  • Ensure accurate communication of cultural and management concepts as the first self-operated store in Singapore.
  • Report regularly to HQ on business performance and market insights.
  • Communicate effectively with HQ and ensure cultural understanding.
  • Submit regular operational reports to HQ.

5. Others

Other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

1. Mandatory Qualifications

  • 5+ years in the F&B industry, with 2+ years in chain restaurant management (local Singapore experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of Singapore F&B regulations (e.g., SFA, NEA) and labor policies.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (to liaise with HQ and manage multicultural teams).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with Singapore food and beverage regulations.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin.

2. Core Competencies

  • Data-driven: Proficient in POS systems and Excel for sales analysis.
  • Resilience: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, resolve emergencies (e.g., complaints, staffing issues).
  • Cultural Adaptability: Balance authentic Malatang culture with local Singaporean tastes.
  • Ability to analyze sales data using POS systems and Excel.
