We're Hiring – Restaurant Manager
New Japanese Robatayaki Dining Experience at Duxton Hill

Step into a leadership role at one of the most exciting new Japanese dining concepts in town! We're launching a premium Robatayaki-style restaurant featuring an open-concept grill and top-grade ingredients flown in from Japan — and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our opening team.

Position: Restaurant Manager
  • Working Hours: 8-hour shifts (between 2 PM – 12 AM)
  • Rest Days: 6 days off per month
  • Salary Range: $4,000 – $6,000/month (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, from front-of-house service to kitchen coordination;
  • Lead and train a new service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences;
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and hygiene;
  • Manage reservations, customer feedback, and service recovery;
  • Handle staff scheduling, performance management, and training;
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure smooth supply chain coordination;
  • Collaborate with the head chef on menu planning and service flow;
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations and licensing compliance;
  • Control operational costs and implement measures to reduce waste.
  • Stay updated on market trends and develop innovative processes to improve efficiency;
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a restaurant manager or assistant manager in a full-service dining environment;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English to liaise with Japanese-speaking counterparts;
  • Passionate about Japanese cuisine and high-level service;
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in restaurant POS systems and basic administrative tools
  • Food Safety Course certification is an advantage
