Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee restaurant operations and ensure a smooth daily business flow, compliance to operations standards and procedures.
- Maintain a positive restaurant image and service culture.
- Create and plan work schedules based on business needs.
- Ensure proper compliance with SFA hygiene standards and complies with our internal preset standards.
- Train new and existing team members to help them meet the restaurant's expectations, providing necessary feedback and training.
- Interact with diners and build positive rapport with guests.
- Ensures that monthly sales revenue is met and ability to suggests and execute promotions.
- Plan and organize restaurant's inventory needs, proper month end stock take and necessary reports.
- Observes quality of food served and ensures that they are of high standards.
- Attend to customers' needs and respond to complaints promptly, understanding service recovery and applying when needed.
Job Requirements
- Diploma Holder with minimum 5 years of Restaurant Manager experience.
- Proven work experience in a fine dining restaurant setting.
- Knowledge in beverages and wine service with necessary qualifications.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with clear verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of financial management, ability to read P&L statements and cost management.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant POS systems.
- Ability to use computers and knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership skills, independent, result oriented and resourceful with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and Public Holidays.
- High personal grooming standards.
- Knowledge of current food and beverage trends.
