Job description

New Halal Restaurant and Catering Kitchen located in Tanah Merah

Seeking experienced Floor Managers or F&B Team Leaders with background in hotel coffeehouse operations. Ideal candidates should have experience handling high-volume breakfast service with fast guest turnover.

  • Salary:
    $2,000 – $3,000/month, depending on experience

  • Work Schedule:
    6 days a week, 1 off day (typically Monday or Tuesday)

  • Working Hours:
    • Lunch Shift: 10.30am to 3.00pm
    • Dinner Shift: 5.00pm to 10.30pm (may end earlier)
    OT: Not applicable

  • Allowances: Accommodation Allowance (to be discussed if shortlisted)

  • Meals: Provided during shifts

  • Nearest MRT: Tanah Merah (shuttle bus service available to and from the restaurant)

Job Scope:

  • Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations

  • Manage floor staff and delegate duties during service

  • Ensure smooth service flow, particularly during peak hours

  • Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues

  • Coordinate closely with kitchen and management

  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and service standards

  • Lead by example during busy meal periods

  • Support event setups on weekends when restaurant is converted into an event space

  • Assist in catering or wedding service coordination when required

  • Facilitate and monitor buffet promotions to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–5 years of Front-Of-House (FOH) Management/Leadership experience(s) in Hotel or Premium Dining settings

  • Preferably with hotel coffeehouse background handling breakfast crowds

  • Confident in guest engagement, staff supervision, and operational flow

  • Able to manage high turnover efficiently during peak meal periods

  • Strong communicator and team motivator
