Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner.
Take and serve orders accurately and promptly.
Supervise service staff (waiters/waitresses/runners) and ensure quality service is maintained.
Ensure tables are set up according to the restaurant’s standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle guest complaints and requests with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance of the dining area.
Assist with training and onboarding of new service staff.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Perform closing duties, including cash handling and shift reports.
