Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Take and serve orders accurately and promptly.
  • Supervise service staff (waiters/waitresses/runners) and ensure quality service is maintained.
  • Ensure tables are set up according to the restaurant’s standards.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Handle guest complaints and requests with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
  • Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance of the dining area.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new service staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Perform closing duties, including cash handling and shift reports.
