Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Site Supervisor for infrastructural works in Bedok, Singapore. The role involves supervising excavation, diversion and replacement works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

You will monitor contractor progress, maintain comprehensive site records, capture daily photographs, and coordinate with the client. The position spans day and occasional night shifts, with a 24‑month fixed-term contract in a challenging urban environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising infrastructural works in Singapore.
• Mandatory safety training and MOM-approved course.
• RTO registration with BCA/IES required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction works including temporary works for canal/drain replacement and diversion.
• Ensure works follow drawings and specs; manage emergency repairs as needed.
• Monitor Contractor progress and maintain site records.
• Take daily site photos and update client via email/WhatsApp with proper labeling.
• Oversee diversion/replacement works on-site, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Verify contractors’ CCTV feeds and inspection reports for quality control.
• Maintain diaries, attendance, schedules, checklists and approvals for concreting and tests.
• Keep records of test results and related documentation.

Your impact:

Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of the construction works including temporary works for replacement and diversion of canal/drain.
• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications; including the emergency repair works of any damages on the existing utilities/services, pipelines, structures, roads, lands, properties or trees, caused by the drain/canal and/or diversion work.
• Monitor the Contractor’s progress and performance and maintain proper site records of the works.
• Take photos of the worksite and update the Client with proper labels through email / WhatsApp on a daily basis.
• Inspect/supervise diversion and/or replacement works on a full‑time basis progressively at worksite including night work supervision and supervision on weekends and public holidays, as and when required.
• Verifying contractors’ CCTV live video feeds and inspection reports.
• Keep and maintain proper site records and documentation, e.g. attendance records of PM, RTO, STO, Professional Engineers, and contractor’s site personnel.
• Keep records of diary, record books, schedule of works, records of inspection/checklists and approvals for concreting, test records, and test.

Qualifications

• RTO registration with BCA/IES with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supervision of infrastructural works in Singapore.
• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognised and acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control.
• Mandatory safety training course, “Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course” or equivalent conducted by an MOM approved training provider.

Other Information

• Working location: Bedok First Subsidiary Drain (Bedok North area, Bedok Town Park).
• 44 working hours (5.5 days) per week.
• 24 months fixed term (subject to renewal).
