Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
• Provide all relevant endorsements required by the authorities.
• Supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary.
• Ensure that contractors have obtained all necessary permits and clearances to work.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure contractors implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures.
• Coordinate with contractors, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants.
• Review, evaluate, and assess all formwork structures and support systems.
• Supervise safety, environmental, and health matters.
• Supervise the installation of instrumentation.
• Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works, etc.
• Review, evaluate, and assess instrumentation monitoring, interpret results, and provide analytical reports or presentations.
• Review contractor’s design and supervise all related works.

Criteria:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tunneling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, data collation, and software use for data presentation, analysis, and interpretation.
• Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering.
• Possess a valid RTO certification by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore.
• 56-hour workweek.
