Job summary

LOOK ARCHITECTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a qualified Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise building works for housing projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and consultants' instructions.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, is registered as an RTO with BCA/IES/ACES, and has at least 5 years of RTO experience on HDB projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering is required.
• Must be registered as an RTO with BCA/IES/ACES.
• Minimum 5 years of RTO experience on HDB projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise building works as per Building Control Act and project specs; ensure quality and site instruction compliance.
• Ensure contractors comply with Singapore building codes and regulations.
• Inspect materials and workmanship for required standards.
• Check drawings and specifications for discrepancies and inform consultants.
• Attend meetings with project consultants and clients.
• Prepare progress reports for the project.

• Supervise building works stipulated in Building Control Act, maintain quality control, and ensure all works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and site instructions given by the project consultants ;
• Ensure contractors execute works in compliance with prevailing Singapore building codes& regulations ;
• Inspect materials and workmanship for compliance with required standards ;
• Check drawings and specifications for any discrepancies and inform the consultants ;
• Attend meetings with project consultants and client ;
• Prepare progress reports for the project;

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil & Structural (C&S) Engineering
• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) for Housing Development Board (HDB) projects
