RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER

We are seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee and manage site operations for our ongoing projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in supervising construction works. Manage consultants on regulatory consultations and submissions for compliance / certifications or appropriate waivers.

The Role

  • Responsible overall project supervision to ensure the construction of a quality product which meets commercial objectives
  • To attend site meetings and resolve site technical issues.
  • To review contractor’s submission.
  • Monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
  • Maintain proper documentation, site records, and reports
  • Assist in resolving technical and site issues promptly
  • To ensure all the works carried out by Contractor are accordance to approved plans and specifications
  • Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner
  • Other duties and responsibilities to support projects

Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Possess a valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) Certificate accredited by IES/BCA or ACES.
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
