Job summary

KCL CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor with a Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of experience to oversee commercial building projects in Singapore.

You will supervise site activities, monitor compliance with drawings and methods, and ensure quality control of materials and workmanship. The role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, familiarity with statutory codes, and a Resident Technical Officer certificate.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of commercial buildings.
• Resident Technical Officer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES.
• Knowledge of institutional projects and statutory codes.

Responsibilities

• Understand project specifications and drawings; ensure site activities comply with regulations and client requirements.
• Monitor site works to ensure method statements and work procedures are followed.
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor's work.
• Ensure builder follows consultant instructions and check drawings for discrepancies.
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used on site.
• Maintain documentation of site inspections, safety records, and approved/as-built drawings.
• Update site records on progress, housekeeping, and prepare reports.
• Verify contractor progress payments and material deliveries on site.
• Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning sessions for compliance with designs.
• Report to project QP/Consultants team on quality and progress.

Job Description:

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawings
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Verify the contractors’ progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to project QP / Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Period: 30 months
• Start from: Mid September 2026

Requirement:
