  • Responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of construction and installation within a pharmaceutical facility, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Site Supervision and Inspection: Monitoring the installation of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) on-site, ensuring they are installed correctly according to drawings, specifications, and relevant codes.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards, documenting findings, and reporting any deviations.
  • Progress Monitoring: Tracking the progress of mechanical works, identifying potential delays, and reporting them to the relevant parties.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material lists, test results, and inspection reports.
  • Coordination: Liaising with other trades, contractors, and the project management team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of works.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all mechanical works comply with relevant regulations, safety standards (e.g., BCA regulations), and the terms of the contract.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Assisting with the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, including preparing documentation and coordinating with relevant parties.
