Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise air conditioning and mechanical works for a hotel renovation project. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in site supervision, particularly in hotel projects. A diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required. The contract is approximately 15 months, starting around 1 Oct 2025.

• Prior experience in A&A works for hotel projects is advantageous.

Job description

• To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that the works are constructed to require quality and accuracy.
• To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
• To provide standing supervision as and when directed by the consultant team.
• The RTO should have extensive experience in the supervision of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection is a must. With preferred experience in construction of school project would be an added advantage.
• Scope of Works:
  - Guestrooms in L4 to L32 (existing AC and FP system to be retained, there will be a change from 1 sink to 2 sinks, adding water dispenser, new lighting design, add and relocation of power points, relocation of data point)
  - L4 to L32 Guestrooms Corridor and Lift Lobby (existing AC, FP, EVC system to be retained, new lighting, new power point, 1 to 1 replace exit signs etc.)
  - L32 club lounge (existing AC, FP, EVC system to be retained, 1 to 1 replacement of lighting, change of existing power point Faceplate to new)
  - replacement of hot and cold water horizontal main pipes at certain floor of guestrooms corridor
  - replacement of AC flexible ducts at the L4 to L32 guestrooms corridor/lift lobby
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Have at least 8 years experience as RTO
• Prior experience in A&A works for hotel and hospitality project is preferred/advantageous
• Contract around 15 months
• Able to start work approximately by 1 Oct 2025
