The candidate will manage technical and design issues at site, ensure compliance with drawings and safety regulations, and have at least 5 years of local project experience, particularly in healthcare. Qualifications

• Registered C&S Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience on local projects.
• Familiarity with healthcare projects is advantageous.

Project Location: Institute project at Queenstown area

Job Description

• Assist the Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager.
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
• Estimated commencement of work in September/October 2025.

Requirements

• A registered C&S Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects
• Experience in Healthcare project (Polyclinic, Nursing Homes, Hospital etc) is an added advantage
• Experience in Student Accommodation, Service Apartments, Hotel, Institute of Higher Learning, or project of a similar nature is an added advantage
• Familiar with local codes and regulations
• Ability to respond to technical questions
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution is an added advantage
