Providing standing supervision as and when directed by Senior Resident Engineer, Resident Engineer, Consultant and client teams.
Proactively identify and resolve M&E-related issues, proposing effective solutions and implementing corrective actions to maintain project compliance.
Attend site daily progress meeting and other site walk with client and contractors.
Inspection of materials delivered on site and check compliance with approved materials.
Review of testing & commissioning plan and witness M&E test on site and factory test when required.
Factory acceptance test and inspection of High voltage electrical panels, Variable frequency drive panels before delivery to site.
Electrical relay testing, primary injection testing of HT panels. Variable speed drive load testing at 0 to 100 percentage loads. Site acceptance testing and commissioning of VFD, MCC.
Induction motor drive installation check and output parameter checks. Fire suppression system check (FM200) before RI inspection.
Addressable Fire alarm testing and commissioning.
Mechanical ventilation system testing evaluation with design criteria. Combines service test during activated fire mode.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all M&E work, inspections, correspondence, and ensure proper as-built installation records are maintained.
Requirements:-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Min 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
