Project Location: Institute project at Queenstown area
Job Description:
- Assist the Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager.
- Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team.
- Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
- Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
- Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
- Maintain site records.
- Estimated commencement of work in September/October 2025.
Requirements:
- A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects.
- Experience in Healthcare project (Polyclinic, Nursing Homes, Hospital etc)
- Experience in Student Accommodation, Service Apartments, Hotel, Institute of Higher Learning, or project of a similar nature
- Familiar with local codes and regulations
- Ability to respond to technical questions
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution is an added advantage
