Job description

  • RTO registration with BCA/IES with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the supervision of drainage upgrading works in Singapore.
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognized and acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control.
  • Have attended the mandatory safety training course, “Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course” or equivalent conducted by a MOM-approved training provider.
  • Supervise the execution of the construction works including temporary works for replacement and diversion of canal/drain.
  • Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications; including the emergency repair works of any damages on the existing utilities/services, pipelines, structures, roads, lands, properties or trees, caused by the drain/canal and/or diversion work
  • Monitor the Contractor’s progress and performance and maintain proper site records of the works
  • Take photos of the worksite and update the Client with proper labels through email / WhatsApp on a daily basis
  • Inspect/supervise diversion and/or replacement works on a full-time basis progressively at the worksite including night work supervision and supervision on weekends and public holidays, as and when required
  • Verifying contractors’ CCTV live video feeds and inspection reports
  • Keep and maintain proper site records and documentation, e.g. attendance records of PM, RTO, STO, Professional Engineers, and contractor’s site personnel
