Job summary

Jacobs International Consultants Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) Civil for a defence project at Tengah Air Base, Singapore.

Job description

Our Cities and Places Business is currently hiring a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) Civil for a Defence Project within Tengah Air Base in Singapore.

Essential Duties:

• Full-time on-site supervision for construction work on 5.5 days' work week.
• Represent QP (Supervision) to perform the role as Qualified Site Supervisor and report to the Resident Engineer.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance to the Building Control Act & Regulations.
• Book-keeping and administration of site records.
• Attend to underground services detection works, trial trenching works, material testing for concrete, structural steel and reinforcements.
• Supports any ad-hoc duties directed by QP and his representatives.
• Able to perform night works and on public holidays when required. Days off in-lieu will be given for such works.
• To be a successful candidate, you should have a minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supervision of civil and structural engineering works, and possess RTO Cert. Prior working experience in confidential defence projects would be an added advantage.

This role is open for Singaporean national candidate only, given the project security restrictions. Contract duration: 24 months, with possible renewal for another assignment
