Job description

1) Minimum 5 years as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with experience in supervision of Precast Bathroom Unit (PBU) and Curtain Wall System.

Qualifications:
  1. Registered with IES/ACES as Resident Technical Officer.
  2. Preferably with experience in high-end condominium projects.
Responsibilities:
  1. Inspect defects and oversee rectification works during post-TOP period.
  2. Supervise construction works in architectural, M&E, and structural disciplines in accordance with BCA-approved drawings, complying with Building and Control Act and regulations.
  3. Ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications through inspections and sample tests.
  4. Inspect defects and non-conformance issues, issuing instructions for rectifications.
  5. Coordinate with RE, PE, and Architect on site organization, duties, and tasks, including M&E services and structural design considerations affecting architectural and ID works.
  6. Verify that architectural and ID works follow design intent; notify Architect of conflicts, quality issues, or illegal works.
  7. Maintain records of work and report to the Consultant.
  8. Attend site and technical meetings as required by Client/Consultant/RE.
  9. Vet and sign off inspection forms, including those related to dry-lays, trade demonstrations, method statements, mock-ups, defects, M&E testing, and commissioning.
  10. Monitor site management by the builder.
  11. Handle duties related to obtaining TOP/CSC/DLP certifications.
