Job summary

A leading construction company is looking for a Resident Technical Officer to ensure compliance with local codes and monitor the quality of workmanship on-site. The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and significant experience, particularly in HDB and LTA projects, to help drive project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant site experience in residential/improvement works.
• Registered with IES/ACES as Resident Technical Officer.
• Experience in HDB's works and LTA projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installations comply with local codes and standards.
• Inspect and monitor quality of workmanship on site.
• Prepare and review daily and weekly reports.

Job description

Resposibilities

• Ensure that all installations are in accordance with local Codes, Regulations and Standards
• Inspect and monitor quality of workmanship of the works on site
• Check all drawings and contract specifications
• Review Method Statement & Risk Assessment Document & Inspection Test Plan procedure
• Review the Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) Plan and Procedure Documents
• Follow the approved engineering drawings /documents & carried out inspection.
• Review & follow QP/PE Design approved documents
• Review project overall schedule on weekly basis on construction and inspection activities
• Internal meeting with Eng., Team & contractor
• Follow-up & monitor daily project schedule
• Prepare and reviewing of daily & weekly report

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, National Construction Certificate of Supervision (NCCS) or diploma
• Registered with IES/ACES as Resident Technical Officer
• At least 5 years relevant site experience in residential / improvement works.
• Experience in HDB's works, LTA projects is a strong advantage
