Job summary

A leading architectural firm is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to supervise and ensure quality control of construction works in Singapore. This role involves working closely with consultants and contractors, requiring a strong background in architectural or construction fields along with proven supervisory skills. Ideal candidates will be registered with IES and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in local projects.

Job description

Resident Technical Officer (C&S & Archi)

Responsibilities
Assist Consultants/client in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site
Ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications
Liaise with the contractors/sub-contractorsin the coordination of site works
Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress andirregularities to Consultants
Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the site

Requirements
Degree or Diploma in design or construction related field from University/Polytechnic
Registered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer
Minimum 5 years relevant local experience in architectural & interior design works
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Expected to know the prevailing Building Control Act, Building Control Regulations, etc, and be conversant with all the requirements concerning supervision, quality control, reports and other documentation.
Has an eye for details and resourceful
