Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee civil, structural, and M&E works. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, be registered with local accreditation bodies, and possess strong supervision and communication skills. This role involves ensuring compliance with specifications and conducting inspections, making it crucial for maintaining quality on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building works.
• Registered and valid RE/ RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
• Registered under Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS) as a registered steelwork supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil, structural, architectural, and M&E works.
• Conduct in-progress inspections and identify non-conformity.
• Attend site coordination and quality meetings, and witness inspection/testing sessions.

· To supervise and monitor civil, structural, architectural, and M&E works including monitoring of installation works in accordance with the approved drawings and statutory requirements and specifications

· To conduct in-progress inspections and to identify any non-conformity and report to the Qualified Person

· To attend site, coordination, quality meetings

· Witness all the inspection and testing sessions performed to ensure compliance with designs and specifications

Job Requirement

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building works. Preferably with experience in industrial building/ development with prestressed (PT) elements

· Registered and valid RE/ RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)

. Registered under Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS) as a registered steelwork supervisor

· Preferred applicants with Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisors Course (BCSS)

· Conversant in statutory code and requirements

· Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
