in Singapore seeks a capable Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work and building services, to meet PUB/LTA and other authorities' requirements for permanent and temporary works. The role requires independence and energy to perform permanent shift work or late-night supervision and project management, and competency with MO WA H, lifting, PTW, etc.

Qualifications

• RTO must supervise civil, structural and geotechnical works to meet PUB/LTA and other authorities’ requirements for permanent and temporary works.
• Independent and energetic to perform permanent shift work or late night supervision and project management.
• Competent with MO Manpower WS requirements e.g. Work-At-Height (WAH), Lifting work, Permit-To-Work (PTW) etc.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil, structural and geotechnical building works and associated services to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
• Manage site activities with focus on safety, quality and progress records.
• Maintain daily progress records and coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders.

Job description

1. The RTO shall supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.
2. The RTO shall be independent and energetic to perform permanent shift work or late night supervision and project management work.
3. The RTO shall be competent with all necessary Ministry of Manpower WS requirements e.g. Work-At-Height (WAH), Lifting work, Permit-To-Work (PTW) etc.
4. The RTO shall possess high proficiency in MS Excel, Power-point and maintaining proper daily work progress record.
