Job description

Job Descriptions:

• Work as a Tunnel Resident Technical Officer (RTOT) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO) on our LTA projects, assisting and reporting to the RE and SRE to monitor all site activities, incidents, including near-misses. Report any non-compliance to the RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
• Assist the Engineer in supervising related works, including but not limited to replacement and extension, construction and reconfiguration of viaduct/bridge works, associated civil works, proposed new flexible pavement and infrastructure, re-alignment of roadways, fencing, and construction.
• Prepare daily reports regularly and as required by clients.
• Supervise all construction activities, ensuring compliance with all plans/drawings, risk assessments, and specifications.
• Willing to work on rotation shifts.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies.
• Ensure that contractors and subcontractors comply with the client's safety requirements, and safety checklists are followed.
• Reject poor quality work at the site and inform the RE to raise non-conformance notices.
• Assist the RE in managing and maintaining records and documentation of field or site changes and monitor adherence to the construction schedule.
• Carry out standing supervision for critical site activities.
• Stationed full-time on-site, 44 hrs weekly; for RTO Tunnel: 56 hrs weekly.
