Job summary

A leading firm in architecture is looking for a Resident Technical Officer responsible for supervisor roles on HDB and BTO projects in Singapore. The role involves overseeing construction and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in structural work supervision and be certified as RTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in supervision of building projects in Singapore.
• Registered RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee.
• HDB/ BTO projects supervision experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Consultant for supervision during construction.
• Assist in the supervision of Structural Works.
• Provide assistance required by Mechanical & Electrical Engineer.

Job description

The Resident Technical Officer shall be directly responsible to the Consultant (Architect) / Project PM for the duration of the construction of the Works.

Shall assist in the supervision of the construction of the Structural Works under the Building Control Act and to render all assistance as may be required by the Consultant (Civil & Structural Engineer) and the Consultant (Mechanical & Electrical Engineer).

For HDB Project Civil & Structural / Architectural Works :

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent

• Registered RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Preferred applicants with Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisors Course
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience in supervision of building projects in Singapore
• Must have HDB/ BTO projects supervision experience
