Requirements :

• Diploma / Degree in Structure Engineering
• 2 years minimum experience
• Well versed in Microsoft application software

Responsibilities :

General

• To attend meetings with Consultants / sub-contractors when required
• To monitor any complaints received pertaining to site management and remedial steps taken
• To be familiar with Main Contractor's building program and keep check on critical items that may cause delay
• To keep & submit to Main Contractor / Consultant a detailed record of progress / delay of works by sub-contractors on monthly basis

Duties for Structural Works

• To inspect / check works at site ensuring it complies with contract requirements & drawings
• To ensure all testings carried out are as per specifications & agreed test plan
• To carry out standing supervision for all concreting works
• To carry out post-concreting inspection to check the finished concrete / steelworks / finsihes quality, dimension and alignment
• To check and report any discrepancies between all the construction drawings
• To supervise demolition works at site and ensure works carried out comply with approved method statement and drawings
• To keep & maintain documents & others required by BCA i.e. Record of Attendance of All Consultants / Visitors from Authorities, BCA approved drawings, Testing Records, Site Daily Report including progress photographs, Construction drawings and part prints, incoming and outgoing documents, Architect's & Engineer's instructions, etc
• To ensure the work on site complies with the latest Workplace Safety & Health Act
• To monitor the progress of works
