The Resident Property Officer is responsible for the supervision of upgrading/modernization projects undertaken by the Facilities Management Department. He/She will be required to support the Club, in terms of Project & Property Management, through competent and excellent technical services and support, while carrying out all assigned tasks in a sustainable way.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist to plan, manage and track progress of onsite builder’s and interior fitting-out works, including MEP services, and the renewal of finishes, fittings and fixtures, etc.
- Provide onsite supervision of ongoing projects, in order to maintain quality and that work is within time and cost constraints
- Ensure compliance with Singapore standards and regulations, as well as industry best practices, throughout all construction and installation activities.
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold health & safety measures by ensuring adequate safety precautions, quality control and adherence to approved methods and design specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, specialists, suppliers and all other stakeholders, so as to troubleshoot and to resolve technical issues and ensure project milestones are met.
- Attend site meetings, inspections, as well as the testing and commissioning of systems and services
- Monitor and update Management on the progress of all planned projects, including the updating of planned vs actual costs, and report incidents or findings as well.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the projects.
- Review, assess and comment on contractors' submissions including but not limited to Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Samples of Materials to be used, and proper submission of As-Built Drawing, so as to ensure correctness and completeness, etc.
- Carry out administrative duties as required by Management.
- Reviewing and checking all design or tender drawings and specifications, ensuring that such drawings are carried out in accordance with the approved design intent or design options.
- Maintaining project/site records through rollcall and site photos
- Coverage of duties where necessary and to work closely with the Maintenance Team
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil & Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Proficient in Autocad and able to interpret/update drawings.
- Good knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in project management and construction supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
