Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Resident Physician to provide first-line clinical coverage, manage more complex cases, and mentor junior doctors with a broad, deep understanding of frontline services.

The role includes assisting in running clinics and supporting procedures and/or operations as directed by senior colleagues. Applicants must be in active clinical practice and hold registrable medical degrees with the Singapore Medical Council.

Qualifications

• In active clinical practice.
• Basic medical degree registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Postgraduate medical qualifications registrable with the Singapore Medical Council (e.g., MRCP).
• Resident Physician requires a minimum of 3 years of experience as Medical Officer (post housemanship) or equivalent.
• Senior Resident Physician requires a minimum of 7 years of experience as Medical Officer (post housemanship)/Resident Physician or equivalent.

• Provide first-line clinical coverage and manage more complex cases.
• Guide junior doctors in clinical decision-making.
• Assist in running outpatient and inpatient clinics.
• Perform or assist in procedures and/or operations as permitted by senior physicians.

Job description

The Senior/Resident Physician will provide first-line clinical coverage, handle more complex cases, and guide the junior doctors accordingly with his/ her broad and deep understanding of first-line clinical services. He/ she will assist in running clinics, as well as assist in carrying out procedures and/or operations as permitted by the senior doctors.

Requirements
