Job summary

A leading construction management company in Singapore seeks a qualified Mechanical Site Supervisor to lead the site supervision team for mechanical and building construction. The ideal candidate has a good degree in Mechanical Engineering and about 10 years of experience, especially in infrastructure projects such as water treatment works. Responsibilities include supervising construction works, addressing technical issues, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• About 10 years of experience in supervising mechanical works on infrastructure projects.
• Recognized qualifications by the PE Board preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all Mechanical and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager with site inspection issues.
• Address Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals.

Job description

Responsibilities:

· Lead the site supervision team on all the Mechanical and Building Construction works.

· Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Mechanical site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.

· Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.

· Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

Qualifications;

· Good graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.

· About 10 years of experience in supervising mechanical works in the construction of infrastructure projects preferably in water/or used water treatment works.
