A leading consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead site supervision for construction works. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in supervising electrical projects in water treatment plants. • Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on Electrical site inspection issues.

Contract Duration: 2 years (renewable/extendable)

Location: Nanyang Drive

Working Hours: 5.5 days

Our client is an MNC Consultancy in the water and wastewater industry. With more than 100-year heritage, helping companies across the globe efficiently and effectively collect, store, move and treat water and wastewater, plan and manage watersheds and harness the energy embedded in the treatment and movement of water.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the site supervision team on all the Electrical and Building Construction works.

· Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Electrical site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.

· Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.

· Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising electrical works in water/used water treatment works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (M&E).
• A person with good communication and leadership skills
