Job summary

Outsource Projects in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer with hands-on site supervision experience to lead construction activities on civil and structural works according to project drawings and regulations.

The role requires at least 4 years in civil engineering, a recognised engineering degree, and RE accreditation. You will work under SRE and coordinate site staff to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Min 4 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience advantageous in pedestrian overhead bridge, road, flyover construction.
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Accredited as a RE with IES.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and high quality of work in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Provide standing supervision for construction of civil and structural works according to project specs.
• Assist SRE in management and control of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s).
• Assist SRE in administrative control of site staff; maintain discipline and attendance records.
• Oversee all aspects of construction; keep and submit records.
• Provide full support and assistance as directed by SRE or client.
• Check and assess temporary works to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ensure contractor's procedures align with method statements and safety regulations; direct modifications if needed.
• Perform any other adhoc tasks as assigned by management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure that good safety and highquality of work are being carried out by the Contractor in compliance with thestatutory requirements
• To provide wherever and whenevernecessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structuralworks in accordance with the Project specifications, construction drawings, andBuilding Control Act and Regulations.
• To assist SRE in the managementand control of a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s)
• To assist SRE in administrativecontrol of the site staff, instill and maintain discipline, punctuality, andkeep daily records of staff attendance, and other matters concerning the sitestaff's administrative matters.
• To oversee all aspects relatingto the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting records.
• To provide full support andassistance, as and when directed by the SRE or client
• To check and assess temporaryworks by the Contractor to ensure that the works are safe and in compliancewith all relevant Regulations.
• To ensure that Contractor'sworking procedure complies with the agreed method statement and relevantworkplace safety and health regulations and to direct modification to theprocedure, if necessary, to comply with the agreed method and safety and healthregulations.
• Any other Adhoc tasks are givenby management
