About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Resident Doctor to join our Hospice and Home Care team on a 6-month contract to provide coverage during maternity leave. You will be responsible for delivering compassionate, patient-centred medical care to individuals with advanced or chronic illnesses in both home-based and centre-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead nurses in providing medical consultations for patients in home and centre-based care
  • Conduct initial assessments and formulate care plans with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide symptom management and holistic support (psychological, emotional, and spiritual) to patients and their families
  • Review care plans regularly to ensure patient safety and care quality
  • Conduct regular clinical meetings and teaching sessions for the care team
  • Mentor and support nursing staff in clinical care delivery
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as required to support Metta Medical Care services
Job Requirements
  • Basic medical degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience
  • Experience in palliative care and/or home care is advantageous (training provided if needed)
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong clinical judgement and commitment to compassionate care
  • Good communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
