Job summary

THYE HUA KWAN MORAL CHARITIES LIMITED in Singapore seeks a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support the nursing team in delivering daily care to residents. You will document observations, monitor vital signs, report changes to the registered nurse, and assist residents with grooming and activities.

Responsibilities include escorting residents to appointments, guiding participation in development and recreational programmes, and providing general supervision.

Qualifications

NITEC in Community Care & Social Services required.
NITEC in Nursing required.
Certificate in Healthcare Support from HMI Institute of Health Sciences.
WSQ nursing care-related certificates or relevant work experience.
Nursing Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the nursing team in simple procedures.
Document, monitor, and record observations of residents' vital signs; report changes to the registered nurse.
Supervise / assist residents in daily needs (e.g. personal grooming and daily living activities).
Escort residents for medical appointments.
Guide residents to participate in development and recreational programmes.
Provide general supervision of residents.

HMI Institute of Health Sciences' Certificate in Healthcare Support
