Job description

The Reservations Sales Executive is responsible for handling incoming calls from potential guests and travel agents, closing sales, and ensuring consistent revenue by effectively managing room bookings. This role involves providing booking recommendations, administering reservation requests, and ensuring accurate confirmation of all reservations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively handle requests from guests, companies, and travel agents via phone or email while ensuring guest satisfaction.
  2. Convert reservation requests into confirmed reservations and input booking information accurately into the reservation system.
  3. Build packages suitable to guest requests, including reservations for other services (visa, transfer, tickets, tours) based on guest requests.
  4. Propose promotion programs or packages to increase room sales and revenue.
  5. Meet monthly revenue targets, including average daily room rate and occupancy rate.
  6. Assist with all Front Desk duties such as processing reservations, guest check-ins/check-outs, cancellations, and payments.
  7. Ensure all reservations are recorded following established procedures with complete and accurate information, and inputted promptly into the system.
  8. Exercise effective listening to capture relevant information and provide a premium guest experience.
  9. Liaise with all departments to ensure the best service for customers.
  10. Ensure all work meets company standards and training guidelines; all paperwork must be accurate and complete, including guest preferences, booking supplements, and payment details.
  11. Undertake general administration duties.
  12. Observe company rules and procedures and carry out reasonable requests from managers or supervisors.
  13. Perform any other duties as assigned by hotel management.
