Job Description (Specific Duties of the Position):
Conduct research on computer vision, deep learning, and AI-related problems.
Build prototype applications in AI domains such as computer vision, self-supervised learning, multi-modality learning, etc.
Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and researchers to conceptualize and iterate on software development.
Develop and deploy data science prototypes, focusing on bringing machine learning models into production.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance machine learning models, troubleshooting performance and accuracy issues.
Work with technical and non-technical teams locally and overseas, effectively presenting proof-of-concepts to stakeholders.
Build data cleaning and augmentation pipelines for machine learning and deep learning model-based projects.
Automate processes and workflows for efficient delivery of data science products using scripting and open-source tools.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and deployment techniques through independent research and open-source tools/libraries.
Education:
Highest Qualification: Degree, Masters, or PhD
Discipline: Engineering or Science
Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in real-world data science projects, including internships, hackathons, and personal projects.
Expertise in Python programming and libraries for data processing, visualization, and model development (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn).
Proficient in API concepts and libraries, with experience in testing and deployment using frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Minio) and SQL for data storage and retrieval.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) to design web interfaces for data science prototypes and deploy them.
Knowledge/Professional Skills:
Engineering background with experience in Sensing, Controls, Automation, Optimization, and Manufacturing Processes.
Expertise in Data Engineering & Analytics.
