Republic Polytechnic's School of Engineering invites applications for a full-time Research Staff on a 12-month contract to support the DGF-funded project on Smart Water Treatment in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems for land-based fish farms.

The role focuses on prototype development, lab research, system integration, and field validation at commercial fish farms, contributing to technology commercialization and IP development.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Environmental Engineering/Science or closely related field.
• Interest in water treatment, aquaculture, water quality monitoring, microbiology, and applied research.
• Ability to design and interpret laboratory experiments and data analyses.

Responsabilités

• Conduct applied research on smart water treatment for recirculating aquaculture systems.
• Perform laboratory experiments, field trials, water quality monitoring, and microbiological testing.
• Develop, integrate, and evaluate prototype systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with industry partners to support validation and deployment.
• Supervise final-year project students and interns.
• Support IP development, technology transfer, and commercialization activities.
• Prepare technical reports, journal publications, and grant proposals.
• Manage laboratory equipment, procurement, safety compliance, and research products.
