Job description

Temasek Laboratories at NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The candidate will be expected to conduct research in digital signal processing and array signal processing, with a focus on signal source separation in single and multi-channels, the use of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) for source localization and separation, as well as RF radar processing.
  2. The candidate will be responsible for both the theoretical development of methods and experiment design to validate the developed methods.
  3. Other research responsibilities include co-supervising junior researchers, interns and students; conducting detailed literature review and assessment of the state-of-the-art technologies; planning and executing detailed R&D activities to meet project objectives and deadlines; generating novel scientific or technological concepts for application of breakthrough nature; and contributing to research proposals.
  4. Administrative responsibilities may include safety management, asset management and other tasks related to being a member of Temasek Labs at NTU.

Job Requirements:

  1. PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related fields. Entry level candidates will be considered.
  2. Strong background and knowledge in modern RF communications, digital signal processing, and array signal processing.
  3. Proficiency in algorithm development and programming skills, particularly with MATLAB.
  4. Familiarity with Ettus USRP devices, GNU Radio/LabVIEW programming is an advantage.
  5. A good publication record.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
