Temasek Laboratories@NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) and Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MB) systems

  • Develop III-Nitride epistructure using MOCVD and MBE systems

  • Grow III-Nitride epistructures on different substrates such as Si, SiC and Sapphire

  • Characterize the grown epilayers using tools such as microscope, AFM, XRD, PL, Hall, CV etc for the structural, electrical and optical properties

  • Writing technical reports

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate should have a master’s degree in physics, materials science or electrical and electronic engineering

  • Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience or bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience

  • Hands-on experience MOCVD and ultra-high vacuum systems and semiconductor characterization tools
