What You’ll Do:
- Design and optimize fermentation protocols for plant/fungal substrates to maximize bioactive yield and functionality.
- Manage end-to-end lab workflows, including experimental design, data analysis, and documentation, while prioritizing tasks across parallel projects.
- Execute time-sensitive R&D milestones to meet product development deadlines, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Scale bioconversion processes from lab to production, coordinating with manufacturing and OEM partners for commercial readiness.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and present findings to accelerate product innovation and IP generation.
What We’re Looking For:
- PhD or Master’s in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience in fermentation/bioconversion (academic or industry), with expertise in plant-based/fungal substrates.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced R&D environments.
- Strong technical skills in bioreactor operations, strain optimization, and analytical tools (HPLC-MS, GC-MS).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, paired with clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: Experience in health supplements, cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical industries.
