Research Scientist, Cybersecurity, I²R

Job Description

We are looking for a highly-motivated research scientist to work on exciting projects in Cybersecurity (AI for Cybersecurity). Need strong programming skills and familiarity with Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with a world-class interdisciplinary team comprising malware, networking, cybersecurity, machine learning, and deep learning experts. The research scientist will also work closely with industry partners and interact with them to understand their real-world needs. The successful candidate will also engage in project scoping with industry companies to develop a solution to address cybersecurity enterprise application needs.

Job Requirements

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Knowledge or experience in cybersecurity, network security, or system security using Artificial Intelligence.
• 2-3 years of working experience in related research areas is a plus.
• Publications in top-tier security venues (IEEE S&P, NDSS, USENIX Security, ACM CCS) are expected.
• Proficient with DL programming frameworks in Python.
• Strong interest in AI for Cybersecurity.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in teams - highly desired.
• Ability and willingness to learn and adapt - highly desired.
• Good team player with both research and engineering ethics.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills for proposals, reports, and publications.
