Research Scientist (1-year contract), SCIS

The candidate will be responsible for preparing, designing and assisting in delivering course on Web3 development with Move language. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof ZHU Feida from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University. Candidate's core responsibilities are:

1. Investigate the state-of-the-art of Aptos Move ecosystem projects
2. Create data case for teaching
3. Design course content and lab material
4. Help conduct lab sessions
5. Draft report and research paper with supervision
6. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Minimum Doctoral Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant research or development experience in Web3 domain
3. Basic knowledge/Proficiency in programming software/languages such as C and Java will be positively considered/ is required
4. Demonstrated experience and know-how on Web3 technologies
5. Experience with at least one block chain programming software/languages, such as solidity, move
6. Excellent working knowledge of blockchain ecosystem
7. Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
8. Applicants with research publications in blockchain and AI area will be advantageous
9. Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
