Job summary

Gray Matter Solutions is a healthtech company focused on early detection and management of cognitive decline. We are seeking a Research Intern to support clinical studies, data analyses and research innovation within a collaborative team in Singapore.

You will assist with digital cognitive assessments, study logistics, ethics submissions, and the interpretation of research findings, contributing to the development of brain health tools and evidence base.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, life sciences, public health or data science.
• Strong organisational and detail orientation.
• Comfort interfacing with participants, patients and clinicians.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience handling clinical/research datasets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of digital cognitive assessments and research study procedures.
• Coordinate participant visits, study activities and workflows.
• Maintain participant logs and essential research records.
• Support ethics submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Manage, clean and quality-check datasets.
• Conduct statistical analyses and prepare summaries of findings.
• Interpret cognitive, clinical and biomarker data.
• Contribute to abstracts, posters and manuscripts.

We are looking for a Research Intern to support our clinical studies.

What You’ll Work On

Clinical Research

• Support the delivery of digital cognitive assessments and research study procedures
• Coordinate participant visits, study activities and research workflows
• Maintain participant logs, study documentation and essential research records
• Support ethics submissions, amendments and other regulatory documentation

Data & Research

• Manage, clean and quality-check clinical research datasets
• Conduct statistical analyses and prepare clear summaries of findings
• Support interpretation of cognitive, clinical and biomarker data
• Conduct literature reviews and research synthesis
• Develop figures, tables and presentations for research projects
• Contribute to abstracts, posters, conference presentations and scientific manuscripts

Research Innovation

• Explore new research questions, digital biomarkers and approaches to measuring brain health
• Support the development and validation of new cognitive assessment features and research concepts
• Translate emerging scientific evidence into potential studies, product features and clinical applications
• Help evaluate new technologies, datasets and research partnerships relevant to GMS
• Work with the wider team to bridge research findings with real-world product and clinical innovation

New Studies

• Help develop and execute new clinical and research studies as GMS expands its evidence base
• Support study design, protocol development and research planning
• Work across multiple projects spanning digital cognition, brain health, biomarkers and digital health

Who We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Public Health, Data Science or a related field
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable interacting with research participants, patients and clinicians
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and follow through reliably
• Comfortable working with clinical and research datasets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Curious, resourceful and able to learn quickly
• Genuine interest in brain health, clinical research, technology and innovation
