Job Description

A Research Fellow position is available in the research group of Professor Ho Ghim Wei at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS).
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Develop sustainable electronic materials and components, emphasizing eco-friendly processes and materials.
• Investigate and optimize the electrical, mechanical, thermal, biochemical properties of hydrogels.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including materials scientists, biochemical scientists, and electronic engineers.
• Publish journal papers and meet grant deliverables.
• Perform routine laboratory duties.
• Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by their immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Possess a PhD Degree in advanced functional materials and devices for flexible electronics.
• Hands-on experience with material synthesis, advanced characterization tools, and laboratory instruments.
• A track record of publishing in high-impact journals related to materials science, electronic engineering, or related fields.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
