Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore is looking for a research team member for projects on sustainable indoor farming and the Sustainable Built Environment. This position requires a PhD in engineering or related fields, and experience in sustainable design and analysis within the built environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in project R&D, technology evaluation, and stakeholder engagement, with skills in energy modelling and green building technologies. Strong communication and analytical abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Clean/Renewable Energy or Building related) or sustainable buildings design.
• Experience in sustainable design/analysis for the built environment, Green Mark or LEED projects, M&E construction and development (min 2yrs preferred).
• Proficient in relevant software applications and hands-on experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support SBE projects in project R&D, technology evaluation, and project coordination.
• Conduct technical analysis and research on green building technologies.
• Engage with stakeholders and manage project discussions.
